Buttock Augmentation

The gluteal area in most recent years has acquired importance in a woman’s figure as well as in a man’s. The best results obtained have been through the placement of silicone implants specific for this region.

During the procedure an incision is made in the crease between the two buttocks leaving an almost unperceivable scar which can usually be hidden with even the least discreet undergarment.

Procedure

This procedure can be carried out with general anaesthesia or with epidural, depending on the health and preference of the patient.

Hospitalization is 24 hours. A drain must be worn for the first three days of post-surgery. Recovery usually takes 2 weeks but the patient can return to their usually daily activities after 3 weeks during which time they should wear a compressive garment.
