What is it?
Blepharoplasty (the rejuvenation of the eyelids) consists of the removal of excess skin and fatty deposits that appear under the eyelids.
ELIMINATE THE FATIGUE IN YOUR EYES
The important thing about this procedure is that it eliminates the sensation of fatigue. As a result, it is very suitable for middle-aged men, who are of working age and do not like to be told in the morning that they look tired because of the appearance of their eyelids.
LOCAL ANESTHETIC AND SEDATION
As we mentioned in the section on female eyelid surgery, this procedure is performed using local anesthetic and sedation and acts on both sets of upper or lower eyelids, depending on the excess skin and fat on each eyelid.
In the upper eyelid, the incision is made right in the crease that exists and does not leave any type of scar. In the lower eyelid the incision can be the classic incision under the eyelashes or inside the conjunctiva (transconjuntival). Neither approach leaves a visible scar around the eye.
It takes two hours to perform the operation, and the patient can return to his home about two hours after its completion. Recovery from this intervention takes approximately 3 to 7 days, and you will be able to resume your day-to-day activities after a week.
For the fastest recovery, the patient must perform adopt all measures and follow all advice provided by the aesthetic surgery team at the Instituto Perez de la Romana, such as raising the head and the eye drops and ointments needed during the first week. At the end of the week, the patient can return to their everyday routine.
The results are quite spectacular, and the patient is left with a totally rejuvenated look.

How long does the result last?
