Since appearing of the of novel treatments Facetite, Necktite and Accutite, different parts of the face can be rejuvenated without need of lifting surgery.
The great advantages of this technology are that it does not require general anaesthesia, it is minimally invasive, it leaves no scars and the recovery process is very fast.
Facetite is a technique that consists of applying the bipolar radiofrequency (RF) to the most sagging area of the face, which is usually the mandibular area.
There are used two cannulas: one goes under the skin and one above. Its action is twofold: on one hand, it coagulates and dissolves fat and, on the other, it retracts tissues.
The Facetite technique is a perfect solution for people who do not want or cannot undergo a facelift surgery.
The different areas of the face where this technology has the most effect are the neck, jaw and periocular (around the eyes) and perioral (around the mouth) regions.
Facetite is a minimally invasive technique, which is applied through small incisions that do not leave scars.
The intervention is performed under local anaesthesia, and in some cases local anaesthesia and sedation are applied.
The down time is 5 to 7 days, when the patient can return to his/her normal life.
The results can be seen the same day after the intervention, and they will be improving during the next 2-3 weeks.
Necktite is a technique based on the same bipolar radiofrequency (RF) method, but in this case it is applied to the neck area.
This technique is indicated for patients who have a slight sagging in the neck or jaw area.
The neck is the area which is the most prone to drooping and fat accumulation. Therefore, the action of Necktite is very beneficial, as it removes fat and at the same time tightens the skin. It is the most appropriate technique to eliminate the deformity known colloquially as “double chin”.
It is very common that we use Facetite and Necktite together, because in most cases the deformities of face and neck are associated.
For smaller areas we use a thinner cannula with the same bipolar radiofrequency (RF) technology. This technique is called Accutite, and its aim is to achieve fat removal, eliminate fine expression wrinkles and retract the skin.
Eyelids, and the perioral area (around the mouth) are the most appropriate areas to treat with Accutite.

The most treated areas are face and neck, forehead, lower upper eyelids, under eyes bags, nasolabial fold, and mandibular angle.
The main advantage of this technique is that it produces the effect of lifting without ablative surgery.
No general anesthesia or hospital admission required.
As there is no need for incisions, it leaves no scars.
These interventions are performed with local anesthesia and sedation.
The admission time is a few hours, depending on the extent of the areas that have been treated, allowing patients to come back to their normal life in 5-7 days.
After the procedure, to reduce the appearance of edema and bruising, a compressive tape is placed around the face that at first must be worn for 5 days and then you will only have to wear it during sleeping hours for 1 month.
It is advisable to perform lymphatic drainage massages specific to the treated area, to decrease the recovery period.
Since the treatment is minimally invasive, a light makeup can be used within 3-4 days.
