With Bodytite you can perfectly remodel and tone the abdominal region, which is the most damaged area after a pregnancy or significant weight loss. This method is also indicated in people who have abdominal flaccidity due to other reasons.

The intervention is performed with local anaesthesia and sedation, and only in cases of very large areas, or by preference of the patient, we use general anaesthesia. The patient may return to his/her normal life within the period of 3-7 days, depending on the extent of treatment.

In which areas is the technique usually applied?

The most suitable areas are the arms, the inner thigh, the abdomen , the back and the knees.

What are the benefits of treatment?

The recovery process is much faster compared to other liposuction techniques.

It doesn’t leave scars.

This technique produces a retraction of the skin by means of radiofrequency that does not produce laser-assisted treatments and ultrasound.

Am I going to lose weight using this technique?

No, this technique is not indicated for weight loss. For these cases there are other techniques. This procedure can be used to retract flaccid skin, reshape the body, eliminating fat deposits that exist in certain areas.

What type of anesthesia is used?

These interventions are performed with local anesthesia and sedation and only in cases of very large areas or by patient´s preference or doctor’s indications we use general anesthesia.

How long is the time of admission and recovery?

The admission time can be a few hours with local anesthesia and sedation or 24 hours with general anesthesia.
You can resume your usual life after 3 or 7 days depending on the extent of the treatment.

What’s the post-operation period like?

After the procedure, to reduce the appearance of edema and bruising, a compressive garment is placed that should be worn for 1 month.

It is advisable to get lymphatic drainage massages done specific to the treated area, to decrease the recovery period.

How long does the effect last?

The effect can last for many years, depending on the patient’s lifestyle and genetics of the patients.
